Sherri Key, Broker/Owner

Sherri Key grew up in Big Spring and graduated from Big Spring High School. She went on to college and received her Degree from North Texas State University. She obtained her masters Degree from East Texas State University in Commerce. She also holds a Supervision Certification. She taught school for seven years in the Big Spring and Dallas School Districts. Ten and a half years ago, Sherri decided Real Estate might be an interesting profession. She received her real estate license in January, 1996. She went on to obtain her Broker’s license and received them in March 1999. Sherri has been active in the real estate business and has received many honors in her profession. In 2002, she was awarded Big Spring Realtor of the year by the Permian Basin Board of Realtors. She has served as a director of the Permian Basin Board of Realtors for 4 years. She is currently serving as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board. After working for many years for another company, in June 2006, Sherri decided it was time to own her own company. She opened UNITED COUNTRY HEART OF THE CITY REALTOR, located at 1209 Gregg. She has two agents working in her office. After only being open 1 ½ months, she was the #4 listing company of all United Country Franchises in the state of Texas. Sherri is and has been active in many local organizations. She has served as President of the 1970 Hyperion Club and twice served as the Regent of the Captain Elisha Mack Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She as served as president of Delta Kappa Gamma teaching sorority, Sherri is the wife of Dr. John Key, local dentist. They have one son Richard, who is a senior at Angelo State University. Diane is very active in the community having participated in the Relay for Life since it’s beginning as a team member and fund raiser. Traci Ryan was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX. As a teenager she moved with her family to Denison, TX where she graduated from Denison High School in 1990. She attended East Texas State University and Baker College, and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Business Administration where she has been on the Dean’s List or President’s List each semester. Traci is married to Darrell Ryan, Director of Federal Programs for Big Spring Independent School District and they have two sons ages 17 and 18. Traci is a cancer survivor who has beaten breast cancer. She has managed an Optometry office and a nurse staffing agency. Traci has been a Realtor since April 2006, and a Broker since 2008 having won several awards. She has the latest training and education available. She has a proven track record as a Realtor and as a leader.
